Wells Fargo Makes Raft Of Hires For Advisory Network

Wells Fargo has recruited seven financial advisors from UBS and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to bolster three of its financial advisory teams. Christopher Zich, Kenneth Fruehauf, Thomas Buhl and Keeland Howe join the firm’s Legacy Wealth Management Group from UBS, and will be based in Grosse Pointe Woods in Michigan, and Scottsdale in Arizona. The group of four, who will report to branch managers Douglas Wood and Robert Burghart in Michigan and Arizona respectively, previously oversaw $424 million in assets under management and have a collective T-12 production of $4 million. Meanwhile, Matthew Montini, who also joins from UBS, has been added to the firm’s FINET channel. Based in California, he has 28 years of industry experience, a T-12 production background of $1.1 million and $220 million in AuM. The remaining appointments are that of Avery Wilkins and Michael Cox, who join as the Cox Wilkins Group from Morgan Stanely Smith Barney, with an aggregate 27 years of industry experience. Wilkins and Cox previously managed $84 million in assets and have a combined T-12 production of $738,000. They will be based in Port Richey in Florida, reporting to branch manager Chris Facka.
